On my walks...

Every day I walk. Unlike the States where I volunteer, have friends, a house, responsibilities, etc here I just have time. SO I park the car, and walk. Sometimes just to the library. When it's warm enough I walk around. Wherever. This is what I see. I see the big church in Lund, the University campus, bike paths, parks (pictured is a park that while lovely in the summer is a bit creepy the other 9 months of the year). I see the beginnings of spring. Old houses with beautiful gardents that I admire hopefully without lingering so long as to attract attention. Sweden is beautiful. The landscape in summer is great but even it's winters with their harsh cold realities, has a special kind of stark beauty.
